Health and Dental Benefits
We provide our employees with comprehensive and competitive health and dental benefits for themselves and their eligible dependents. Employees and LexisNexis share the cost of dental coverage.
Our health and dental benefits are provided through Standard Life.
Employee Assistance Program
We realize that personal and family problems can affect employee lives — both at home and at work. To assist employees and their families in getting help needed, LexisNexis has established a prepaid, independent and confidential counseling service for employees and their dependents. The Work/Life Assistance Program helps with all kinds of issues including:
- Family Issues
- Adoption
- Information & Referrals
- Housing/Care Options
- Marriage Counseling
- Death
The program is administered by Corporate Counseling Associates.
Life Insurance and Disability Benefits
Life Insurance — We believe that our employees should be adequately covered in case something unexpected happens. Therefore, we provide all of our employees with life insurance benefits as follows:
- Basic Life insurance = 2 times your benefit earnings
- Basic AD&D insurance = 2 times your benefit earnings
In addition, we offer our employees the opportunity to purchase supplemental life insurance at competitive group rates through the convenience of payroll deduction.
Disability Benefits — After three months of employment, we provide all benefit-eligible employees with Short Term Disability benefits that will replace all or a portion of your salary if you are unable to work due to a non-work-related injury or illness for up to six months. LexisNexis pays the full price of this coverage.
If you are unable to work after 120 days of Short Term Disability, you may apply for benefits under our Long Term Disability program through Standard Life.
