Technical Help - Creating Additional Connect Icons

If you sometimes connect to Quicklaw from a different city or use a different connection method (Internet, dial-up), you may wish to create an additional connect icon.

Creating Additional Connect Icons

1. From the Setup menu, click Service Connections. Select Quicklaw. Click Open.
2. Make note of your current settings. You will need to change them back in Step 6.
3. Make the necessary changes for the new connection, then click Save.
4. From the Setup menu, click Service Connections. Select Quicklaw. Click Copy.
5. Click Save As, name the connection, and then click OK. A new icon will appear on your launch bar.
6. Repeat Step 1.
7. Change the settings back to your original settings. Click Save.
