The HTML Format printout has large
left margins and large spaces between each word.
The Screen Format printout has gibberish with many number signs.
The two most common reasons for this are that the correct printer
is not set as the default printer, or that the paper type or paper
size is incorrect.
- In Windows 95 or Windows 98, click the Start
button, then Settings, then Printers.
- Right-click the printer icon.
- From the File menu, ensure that Set
as Default is selected.
- From the File menu, click Properties.
- Click the Paper tab. Ensure that the paper orientation is
set for portrait, and that the paper size is 8 1/2 by 11. Click
OK.

When I print from database ABCD the
documents aren't formatted properly.
In database ABCD, the margins are 80 characters wide. With the
current font setting in QUICKLINK PRO, the left and right margin
settings are too large to handle lines this wide. QUICKLINK PRO
miscalculates the number of lines per page, resulting in incorrect
formatting.
- From the Setup menu in QUICKLINK PRO, select
Printing Options.
- Set the left and right margins to .50. Click Save.
